2009/10 Winter Program, beginning on October 27, offers more than 28,000 flights distributed on 49 routes (17 in Peninsula, 16 towards the Canary Islands, 6 to the Balearic Islands and 10 international routes).
National routes
Spanair maintains 38 domestic routes in addition to Madrid-Barcelona shuttle. We have the largest number of weekly flights connecting the Balearic Islands with Barcelona and Madrid, with a total of 260, offering daily flights between the two capitals and the islands of Majorca and Ibiza. For the first time 2 daily frequencies to Menorca are operated.
In the Canary Islands, Spanair operates 16 routes and offers daily connections from the Peninsula to Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Additionally a weekly direct flight between Barcelona and Fuerteventura will be operated.
In peninsular routes, Spanair offers 570 weekly flights on 17 domestic routes and gives a service of 120 weekly flights for Barcelona – Madrid shuttle: 10 daily flights from Monday to Friday, 4 on Saturdays and 6 on Sundays.
International routes
10 routes are offered with 194 weekly direct flights operating from Barcelona to Algiers, Banjul, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Munich; from Madrid to Banjul, Copenhagen and Frankfurt; and from Malaga to Copenhagen.
What’s new: Spanair launches a new route with a direct flight between Alicante and Oran operating twice a week, and the route between Barcelona and Stockholm will operate 2 flights daily.
