On 9th December 2009, Star Alliance incorporates into its network the Belgian company Brussels Airlines, which has the largest choice of flights to and from the capital of Europe. Spanair Plus members can now benefit from even greater connectivity in our continent.

Spanair Plus users will be able to earn and redeem their points with this leading airline in Belgium, which has a fleet of 45 aircraft and operates around 250 daily flights connecting Brussels with more than 70 European and African airports.

Star Alliance, through its new Brussels Airlines membership, integrates a total of 26 member companies, expanding its network of over 1,050 airports in 175 countries, with more than 19,500 daily flights around the world.
