Spanair Plus Levels
The Programme currently has three levels,
The "STAR Points" determine members’ upgrade on being accrued on flights made with a Star Alliance member company. These points give each member the option of maintaining or upgrading their level based on the accrual during a consecutive 12 months.
Spanair Plus Blue
Spanair Plus Blue card enables point accrual and redemption lying with Spanair or any Star Alliance member company and contracting the services of companies associated to the Programme.
Spanair Plus Silver
To obtain the Spanair Plus Silver card, you must accrue 3,000 points with minimum 6 flights with Star Alliance companies or 18 Spanair flights during a consecutive 12 months.
Spanair Plus Silver card advantages:
- - Check-in at Business / Avant Class desks.
- - Additional luggage allowance of 20kg
- - Access to Spanair VIP lounges flying in flights operated by Spanair
- - Wait list priority on Spanair flights or any Star Alliance company.
- - 10% extra point bonus on each Spanair flight.
- - Credit of 30% of the balance of points till 3.000 points (only available on flight redemptions).
Spanair Plus Gold
To be an Spanair Plus member and upgrade to level Gold, you must accrue 10,000 Star points or make 30 Spanair flights in any tariff class during a consecutive 12 months.
Spanair Plus Gold card offers the most additional benefits to its holders:
- - Check-in at “Star Gold" assigned desks.
- - Additional luggage allowance of 20 kg
- - Access to 660 VIP lounges with guest regardless of reserved class provided you fly with a Star Alliance company.
- - Wait list priority on Spanair flights or any Star Alliance company.
- - Possibility of requesting Spanair Plus Silver card for a companions (only available to Gold members on own merits).
- - Luggage pick-up priority with any Star Alliance company.
- - 15% extra bonus points on each Spanair flight.
- - Exclusive offers and promotions.
- - Free access to VIP meetings rooms at T2 in Madrid
- - Access to Spanair hired lounges flying in flights operated by Spanair.
- - Credit of 30% of the balance of points till 5.000 points (only available on flight redemptions).
