Spanair

The small continent is the name it is known for and the nature offers all kinds of landscapes with an European, American and African vegetation. The most typical about its physiognomy are the ravines which are piling up from the central peaks, with an altitude over 2,000 meters and enormous granite boulders, to the sea.

It has semidesert zones together with tropical vegetation in the mountains; abrupt steeps in front of the extensive sandy beaches and steep ravines in front of the soft banana plantations. A car excursion around the island is impressive and surprising, since the vegetation and climate change in a drastic way within a few kilometres.
