For safety reasons the following articles are not allowed in passenger’s luggage.

• Explosives, ammunition or fireworks.
• Toxic, poisonous or infectious substances.
• Flammable, non-flammable, deeply-refrigerated or poisonous gases. For example: butane or propane gas bottles.
• Flammable liquid. For example, lighter fluid, kerosene, petrol, paints or solvents.
• Flammable solids such as matches and articles that are easily set light.
• Briefcase or suitcases equipped with alarms, lithium batteries and/or pyrotechnic material.
• Radioactive materials.
• Magnetic material or any other type of material classified as dangerous goods by IATA regulations.
• Corrosive material such as mercury contained in thermometers, acid, alkali or electrical humidity accumulators.

For your safety and the safety of others, please consult check-in staff for any doubts about whether an article or material you may have in your luggage is classed as dangerous. Information is also displayed at check-in desks, boarding gates, the Express Check-in machines and in the Web Check-in on dangerous and prohibited items. If you wish to check-in any of the above mentioned items, we offer you the possibility of sending it as cargo by Spanair Cargo services. Call (+34) 902 117680 at least 48 hours prior to the flight’s departure.

Objects not permitted on board
For safety reasons the use of electronic devices is not permitted on board. Please note that the use of any electronic device could interfere with the aircraft communication and navigation systems. Electronic devices must always be switched off.

• Mobile telephones must always be switched off while on board.
• Radio equipment.
• Music players.
• Remote-controlled operated toys.
• Laptops and peripheral devices.
• Televisions or portable video players.
• Wireless microphones.
• Pocket fans.
• Electrical shavers.

You are also not permitted to take on board: sharp objects (scissors, pocket knives, etc) or objects/toys that look like weapons (replica guns, etc), sticks, baseball bats or anything similar. If you have any queries, please ask our cabin crew.

Mobile telephones
Although it is not recommended, if you pack your mobile phone into your checked luggage, please make sure it is switched off. Likewise, if it is in your hand luggage, please switch it off before boarding the aircraft and do not turn it on again until after you have disembarked. Mobile phones on in flight mode are not permitted during the flight.
