Can I change my flight through this service?
Yes, but only if your class type allows it.
In Economy+ the flight time can be changed up to a maximum of 22 hours from the time of the original flight, provided that it is the same day. Remember that the Web Check-in must be done up to 40 minutes prior to the flight’s departure.
Business and Avant Class passengers can freely change flights to those operating on different days, provided that this new flight is within the maximum 22 hour limit of the original flight.
Can I use Web Check-in if I have luggage?
Yes, this service is available for all passengers, regardless of whether they travel with or without luggage. To check-in luggage you must go to the luggage Drop-off desks at least 40 minutes prior to the flight’s departure. These desks are only to be used by Web Check-in and/or Express Check-in users, to keep the volume of people who use them to a minimum and to speed up the process.
I have a paper ticket. Is it possible to use the Web Check-in service?
Yes, remember that it is necessary to show the physical ticket along with the boarding card if requested prior to boarding.
Is it possible to check-in several passengers simultaneously through the Web Check-in?
Yes, to a limit of 6 passengers.
Is the Web Check-in option available for all airports?
Web Check-in is available for all destinations departing from Spain, Stockholm (Arlanda) or Copenhagen (Kastrup).
The Web Check-in system cannot find my booking. What should I do?
First, check the following:
- Remember that you can use the service from 36 hours up to 40 minutes before your flight departure time.
- That you have correctly entered the passenger’s surname (no spaces e.g. LOPEZSANCHEZ).
- That the booking number is correct (5 or 6 alphanumeric characters, e.g. VL4HP or MRI8K9).
-That you have no special requirements included (e.g. extra seat for mobility or health reasons, unaccompanied minors, reduced mobility, excess luggage, infants, etc).
- That you have not made a recent change to your booking (it takes an average of 3 hours for the system to update).
After verifying these steps and the Web Check-in still cannot find your booking, try again later or check-in through one of the other options that Spanair offers (airport Express Check-in machines or check-in desks).
