Spanair signs agreement for its Cabin Attendants

Madrid, the 22nd of June 2007

Spanair is pleased to inform that they have today signed a Collective Agreement with CCOO, the Trade Union that holds the majority representation of the Company’s Passenger Cabin Attendants. This agreement provides a legal, stable and long-lasting framework with regards to the posts and working conditions of the biggest employee group in the Company.

The Company also informs that the Trade Union of Airlines’ Cabin Attendants STAVLA, has declared its interest in joining this Collective Agreement and has called off the strike on the days of the 25th of June and the 1st of July.

On the other hand, SITCPLA (Independent Trade Union of Airlines’ Passengers Cabin Attendants) had still not proceeded to call off the announced strike at the time of this release, for next Monday the 25th of June.

For this reason, Spanair is forced to cancel a limited number of flights on this day, and will make available all the necessary information related to their flight programme on its web site, or through its reservation centre on 902 13 14 15, as well as at the Spanair sales offices and selected Travel Agencies. Additionally, Spanair will offer its passengers every possibility of changing or having their ticket refunded.

Spanair sincerely regrets any inconveniences that this situation may have caused and that is entirely beyond their control, and assures punctual communication on the development of the situation.

Spanair was founded in 1986 and offers more than 600 daily flights, operated with a fleet of 65 aircraft and in code share with its partners, to 241 destinations. Since April 2003, Spanair is a member of Star Alliance, the largest and most prestigious airline network in the world.
