Spanair began its charter flight operations back in March 1998. Since then, when we only had one MD-83 plane, our Charter fleet has grown to become one of the most modern fleets comprising: Airbus 321 (212 seats), Airbus 320 (180 seats) and MD-83 (170 seats). Over these years, we have acquired great prestige the result of 14 years’ experience and working meticulously which has won the confidence of many Tour Operators, both in and outside our frontiers.
Today we work with a large number of Tour Operators, Brokers and Travel Agencies throughout the year, and have over one hundred destinations worldwide. In 2003 Spanair carried almost 3 million passengers on Charter flights, earning income in the range of 252 million €.

Our fleet comprising: Airbus 321 and 320, and McDonell Douglas 83 planes; have great flight autonomy, capable of flying up to 6 hours without stopovers, meaning we can organize operations for large number of destinations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
